Not sure this will work. The "starve the beast" approach is traditionally a way to reign in an avaricious government. However, f the Obama Administration's goal is to crash the economy, reduce the Us to second tier status in the world and install a socialist workers paradise, they might welcome an excuse for ever greater regulation, restrictions and borrowing.

I used to be a proponent of the the “tax revolt by eliminating withholding”. The though being that if millions of Americans changed their witholding so nothing was taken out of their checks that Uncle Sam would be left with an empty bag at the end of the month. But now I question the effectiveness of that kind of protest as I Uncle Sam has no problem spending and printing money that doesn’t exist. I think something more direct is needed.
