ACT! For America is now on Myspace. The page was launched yesterday afternoon and without sending a single invitation I already got 250 cyber "friends". The goal is to get 3,000 by the end of the week.

Please visit the page and if you have an account please send in your requests and/or create one. It's really easy. Myspace will guide you.

Some facts about Myspace and other networks:

Myspace has approximately 11 million active users and it's largest in the US & Canada. Most of the users are under the age of 35 years old, so it is a great tool to have when trying to reach the young.

Next project, hopefully, will be facebook (17 million users with the greatest % of the users from the UK), Bebo (10 million users - primarily in the US), Hi5 (Don't know the exact number of users but most of them are from Europe), Orkut (5 million and over half of the users speak Spanish), Twitter, etc.

If you have an event you would like to advertise please let me know. Myspace will let you post bulletins that go out to everyone on your list. A lot of the bulletins are re-posted by people from your contact/friends list, then someone who is not on your list but it is on one of your contacts list will re-post the bulletin generating a sort of fission chain reaction. I know this because when I advertise from my own page http://www.myspace.com/milafrompange an article that is on my blog, I post a bulletin and in less than 30 minutes I have 3,000 hits to that particular article that came from myspace.
