I read on a German forum at about 4 AM, that machines were restarting on their own. That’s it.
after 24 days of maddening startup chores and a variety of ‘reminders’ I couldn’t stop (some windows, some not) plus losing everything I tried to save into openoffice I threw in the towel and uninstalled it....but left the install icon on the desktop for possible future reinstall. I was never able to find the secret to turn it off and on easily....it had to go because it works toooo good....anyway, I have it if I need it....thanks much!
