Chris Dodd is likely not the most corrupt politician to ever grace our landscape, though he will give a lot of folks a good run for their corrupt practices money. What is truly stunning about Dodd's corruption is the combination of its brazen nature, his proximity to power and influence in the one industry most in need, and that no one seems to much care besides the voters of Connecticut hopefully in November of 2010.

I’m from Ct (hangs head in shame)
This is the first time Dodd has ever been exposed for doing bad stuff. He has enjoyed true political teflon.
Throughout his long career, the press has covered up for his various transgressions, eg., being Teddy’s drinking and sexing buddy and making a waitress sandwich, his affair with a Sandinista spy and that he is an insufferable schnorrer.
I’m loving that he’s suffering humiliation.
Looks like if you are corrupt and The President and Majorities in the House & Senate are both your party, you have ample political and criminal prosecution cover.
I find nothing particularly unique nor brazen about Dodd. He’s just another US pol. Look in any third world sh!thole and you’ll find plenty like him.
As for dangerous? He is good to his masters and wouldn’t still be in power without lots of friends.
You mean this is the first time he has been CAUGHT!
He’s be caught at stuff, but it never stuck.
It's a family thing.
Like father, like son. Tom Dodd was censured by the US Senate in the late 1960s for his behavior. The apple does not fall far from the tree.
Yea ..and Dodd is billed as the head of a political dynasty. What a laugh.
Good point, and I think the reason for the exposure could be that he is losing his teflon coating, aka Teddy K. It’s a timely changing of the guard with broader implications. Out with the old, in with the new. I hear Tom Foley is running, too.
What’s more he looks the part. Hollywood couldn’t cast a better snake in the grass.
Makes Blago look great.
