Here is video of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Greta Van Susteren recently where he said President Obama and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner are engaging in an unprecedented "power grab" by asserting authority to seize private sector entities. Gingrich even uses the term "dictatorial powers" to describe what Obama is seeking. . . . . . (Watch Video)

Gee. Ya think?
No further comments needed.
Late to the party again, Newt.
Gingrich may be more like a coincident, than a leading, indicator. What he says is true. I’m glad he is saying it, and I hope more people sat it.
Engaging in an unprecedented “power grab” by asserting authority to seize private sector entities obama.reid, nancy did say they had a plan how’s that change thing working out for ya?
Newt Gingrich is excellent in this video. It’s Greta who is behind the power curve. I also saw her with Dick Morris. She pooh-poohed his worries about Obama, also.
They’re firing the heads of companies - rewarding those who will “play” with them... yeah, it’s getting bad.
Obama and Geithner are taking down this country and you’re slamming Newt? Gimme a break.

Super DUH there newtie.
Newt is willing to support anyone who is right: Byrd if he resists Obama, Clinton if she is concerned about controlling the border. He is speaking like a smart and informed adult.
Greta is coming off as superficial. I’d call her eye candy, but she isn’t.
Shouldn't this be in (((yawn))) Breaking News?
You know the stakes are high enough for our country right now that I welcome anyone speaking out against Obama, no matter their past “offenses”
I second that.
By the way, is anyone else speaking as effectively as Newt right now? Where is Mitt? Where is Palin? Where is Huckabee?
I’m trying to imagine each of those people on Greta’s show. First, kudos to Newt for setting the agenda and getting on the show. I suspect that Mitt would have charmed us and said about the right thing. Palin would have looked very real and sincere, and have said some of the right things. Huckabee would flash a quick smile (reminds me a little of Nixon) and said the popular thing. I think Newt offered more content than any of them would have offered. I’m not disparaging the others so much as congratulating Newt on a job well done.
Not slamming Newt. He’s just a bit late stating the obvious when we knew it all along.
Thanks for posting this.
Newt is out again and per usual doing the conservative advocacy job that no other Republican or quasi- alleged “conservative” of any other kind - elected or not - seems to have the gonads to do.
And most certainly it’s a job that the resident FR Newt-hating team does not do. They’re much better at playing their lazy and rabid attack dog role against Newt. And from the nation’s predominant “conservative” (ha ha) web forum no less.
It’s really utterly repulsive that people on FR (alleged “conservatives”) go after Newt in this disgusting and shameful manner after his long and very successful history (not to mention his ongoing role) of conservative representation and advocacy.
I was going to predict the imminent arrival of the Newt-haters when I saw this thread first posted earlier this morning. Lo and behold it took less than 6 minutes for mylife, boxerblues, and ButThreeLeftsDo to throw in their cheap and easy innuendo.
I hope you guys are proud of yourselves.
IMO your comments are simply pathetic.
You have a lot of frinking nerve!!!!!!!!
What are you the posting police?
At no time in my FR history have I ever gone after Newt.
Check my postings. No you are just going to assume something because I was one of the first posters. Get a life creep
My comment left today was meant as just that. O is on a power grab....NO FURTHER COMMENTs NEEDED

My apologies to boxerblues. I misunderstood his post #2 which reads:
“No further comments needed.”
Admin moderator? C’mon dude.
We are getting close to the day when one of our “Leadership” finally utters the word “FASCISM”, and I don’t think that’s very far away.
When they do, how many here will be willing to walk away from the keyboard, and muster with the Civilian militia?
