Here are highlights from the Missouri Tigers 102-91 victory over the Memphis Tigers last night, advancing Missouri into the Elite Eight of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Missouri shocked Memphis with tenacious defense and by putting on an offensive clinic as they rolled over a Memphis defense which had only given up an average of 57 points per game. But many of those games were not against the caliber of team they faced in Missouri.
Missouri will face Connecticut tomorrow as they try and win the school's first ever trip to the Final Four. . . . . (Watch Video - includes 65-foot 3-point shot to end 1st Half)

Well that really messes up my bracket. But I’m glad Memphis lost. Everyone knows those dudes aren’t going to class. LOL!
Yeah, but it destroyed the Messiah’s bracket!!
hh
Let’s go Nova.
I do not think anyone is more shocked about this win than myself. I chose not to watch because I was just sure history would repeat itself.... but MU scoring 100 +, now there is history.
What a game!! GO MIZZOU!!!
Watched them a few times as I live in OK....
Darn good team....
Nova has screwed up my bracket some though...!! Ha!!
I have Gonzaga upsetting NC...and OK beating Syracuse.
We shall see!! Ha!!
I knew the Tigers would win.
Especially against Memphis, considered about the best defensive team in the country. I think that when Denmon sank that 70 footer at the buzzer to send Mizzou up by 13, that took a lot of the fight out of Memphis.
I had by Illini beating Gonzaga so I'm hosed already. But I'll agree with the Sooners over the Orangemen.
Yes, Memphis, all I have been hearing is Memphis this and Memphis that, and how MU was 'blessed' to be in the tourney but they could not handle Memphis. And of course Mizzou does have a very long history of falling before they get to the finals.
Here is to 'hoping' for a match of Tigers vs. Jayhawks in Detroit.
Well the Jayhawks will need their 'A' game to get past Michigan State and whoever wins the Louisville-Arizona game, but if this team can get back to the Final Four a year after losing almost all their starters then this state'll go crazy. And if they do match up against Mizzou then all bets are off.
This certainly surprised me... GO MO !
a year after losing almost all their starters.
Here’s a raised in St. Louis BUMP for Mizzou’s game today!
