When the Assault Weapons Ban expired in 2004, did that make the AR-15 legal to own? If Zer0 has his way, his proposed new assault weapons ban will make BB guns into assault weapons.

I think Fred Thompson voted against reinstating the expired Assault Weapons Ban.

I am like many Americans, have no idea what assault weapons bans restrict when made into law. All I know is they are unConstitutional, and they all should be banned.

Er... Wasn't Fred already out of the Senate by then?

but yeah... He did change his tune a bit during this last election. Only Palin, Hunter, and Paul had what could be construed as a "Constitutional" stance on RKBA.

Not just Fudd "Right to hunt with shotguns" crap like Romney or "only for militia" like Guiliani.
