Pro-Obama Canvassing Teams Ask People to Sign Pledge to Support Obama Policies - Video 3/23/09

Here is video via Naked Emperor News of a training video for Obama canvassing voluteers to go door-to-door asking people to sign a "pledge" to support Barack Obama's agenda of "Energy, Health Care, and Education." The volunteers are working through Organizing for America, and are to urge people to sign the pledge and seek to get their names, addresses, email address and phone number.

This is evidence of the perpetual campaign Obama intends to wage in an unprecedented way while President. This is troubling because it shows Obama is more concerned with staying in office than he is in doing what is best for the nation. The pledge drive could also easily become an exercise in intimidation if volunteers are overly aggressive with people they ask to sign the pledge. At the least, it forces people to have to say no publicly to Obama's policies, which is precisely what elections are for. But it appears Obama is not satisifed with just elections, he wants every citizen in America to be confronted with signing an oath to support his policies. Sixty days into his Presidency, Obama is doing nothing to allay concern about the cult of Obama. In fact, he is trying to expand it. . . . . . . (Watch Video of Training)

I've decided that if someone asks me to sign their pledge, I'll smile and say sure.

I'll sign: FUBO - and piss off.

Me too. Let them come to my door. I’d challenge them on every point.

I was approached by one of these clowns in Hollywood. When I told the young woman I would not sign her pledge because I did not support Obama’s policies the look on her face was simple shock. “You want your President to fail?” she asked. “No,” I said. “I want America to succeed.” I then walked away.

“Please come to my house, oh please, oh please!”

You might not like that.

I don’t know if they publish the fact there will be 2 union goons on either side of you and one standing off to the side ready to jam the kool-aid down your throat if you do not comply.

If you can’t be made to comply there will be an additional Kool-aid delivery team standing directly behind you to administer the formula in a way which will not require your consent.

It should be noted that this last technique was pioneered by Barney Frank.

Seriously, this stuff is just creepy!

They were supposed to have canvassed neighborhoods this past Saturday. I was so ready for ‘em. Hubby was working in the yard and said there were people going door-to-door, so “get ready”. The doorbell rang. Jehovah’s Witnesses inviting us to Good Friday services. Bummer.

Hussein’s Brown Shirts never came. Maybe next week...

We had a car pull up outside our gate this weekend, but it was only LDS folks. They were greeted by this:

They left real quick.

That's interesting. The JWs only “celebrate” communion once a year, on Nisan the 14th on the Jewish calendar, and only those who think they are one of the 144,000, or the "remnant" of those still alive, may partake. They believe that when they run out of “remnant,” that signals the return of Jesus. Over the years, fewer and fewer partake. Last time they were here, I asked how many of the “remnant” were left, but they wouldn't tell me. I don't remember it being a public event.

Yeah. They didn’t say “Jehovah’s Witness”, but the invitation they gave me was for the service at Kingdom Hall. Maybe the JWs in SoCal are more liberal than other groups in the country.

This year Nisan 14 is Wednesday, April 8th, but I don’t know if the date starts after sunset. Is that the date they gave you to attend?
