Hunter was the only candidate who could have beaten Obama, but the media made sure his campaign never saw the light of day. Hunter addressed the issues (immigration and trade) that would have clearly divided the electorate in the GOP’s favor. McCain was the least capable of addressing those issues.
It did not help that Mccain was indistinguishable from Obama on fraudulent topics such as global warming and the socialist bailouts.
