In honor of St. Patrick's Day we present "O'Bama" by the Corrigan Brothers.

It's all worth noting, that tomorrow is "party day" for the Obama! I wonder what all this is going to cost the taxpayer!

A White House aide tells POLITICO44 that Obama (O’Bama?) will be hosting two St. Patrick’s Day bashes ...

... at the White House Tuesday night. The theme at the WH will be green all day. Starting at the top o the morning--or more like 11a.m. -- Obama and Joe Biden will meet with the Taoiseach of Ireland in the Oval Office. A little while later, they'll attend a Shamrock Ceremony in the Roosevelt Room. After meeting with the Northern Ireland officials, Obama will travel to the Capitol where he will deliver remarks at Speaker Nancy Pelosi's St. Paddy's Day lunch. Then, later in the evening, Obama will deliver the remarks at not one but two St. Patrick's Day receptions at the WH, where he's hosting Irish American lawmakers and other Irish Americans, a White House aide said

It’s been a long time but I’m pretty sure it was Buliwyf. I like the movie but the book was excellent.

Rats!

For me, Herger the Joyous stole the movie.

“’tis but a small matter” was his stock answer for every horrifying event that came his way....:)

Buliwyf was great too and the scene where his dog howls at his death always makes me cry.

*Great* movie, in spite of Banderas.

“My people, and I am damn proud to be one.”

Hell yeah!

“How The Irish Saved Civilization” is another good one.

[a modest folk, are we]...:)

We can't get a birth certificate on the guy but if you want papers...

Obama to be presented with proof of Irish ancestry (Belfast Telegraph 3/17/09 Belfast Telegraph Staff)

US President Barack Obama is to be presented with a copy of baptismal records which prove his Offaly connections.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen will hand-deliver a photograph of Templeharry Church in Moneygall, where Obama's great-great-great-grandfather was baptised, along with parish records and a picture of the schoolhouse his ancestors attended.

Mr Cowen will also extend an invitation to President Obama to visit Ireland and to Moneygall during his St Patrick's Day visit to the White House.

I don't even think that Barack Obama (Junior) was ever baptized (unless it was done at Jeremiah Wright's church).
