Here is something that the Obama Administration Should blame on President Bush but I am sure they will find a way to take all the credit. ABC News has been conducting Polls in Iraq since 2004, and the numbers in the latest polls are quite incredible. Iraqis feel safer than ever before, they believe in their democratic institutions and are very optimistic about their future. Maybe after reading all these results President Obama will finally say that he believes the surge worked.
Not everything is positive though, the years of violence have cause an Anti-US attitude but that is a number that was very different even a few months ago.

Petreaus? Bush? Never heard of 'em.
Thanks for sharing this. So much credit should go also to our amazingly brave soldiers and Marines, who “stayed the course” through, even with questionable support from many in the United States. God Bless our Troops!
But some people said they where savages and they can’t handle freedom (standard paleocon rant)..
God bless GI Joe!
Thanks for posting. Iraqi freedom BUMP!
Don’t worry, he can still screw it up, blaming Bush in the process.
I heard the ABC nes radio report on the good news in Iraq this morning. Apparently everything started getting better on January 20th, according to ABC.
If Cheney/Rumsfeld/Feith/Bremer et al had got it right the first time there would have been no need for a “surge”...
Four years and 4,000 lives spent on the “learning curve”.. compounded with losses in the midterms of 2006..
you are exactly right. no reason not to use the full might of the military from the beginning.
I’m glad.
Now maybe they can help us get democracy established back here in the US....
