Any effect on .308? I guess this makes brass more expensive across the board.

Much of the military spent ammo is 308.

I handload my own .308, 45ACP, and a few other calibers. I've got enough components to last me a loooooooong time.

Time for every serious gun owner to start handloading. Before long it will be the only way you'll be able to get ammo, short of stealing it.
