I’m reminded why I don’t watch Shep anymore. Now he just looks plain immature and catty. He just can’t hide his seething jealousy.

That would make sense...as I believe Jerry is a sex-addict..or a recovering one.

Maybe he saw Barbarella...too many times.

Instead of Shep, I watch “Attack of the Show” on G4 at 7PM Eastern.

There's also the Andy Griffith Show on at 7PM ET on TV-Land, if you're into decent, wholesome quality comedy. Lots of good 'family values' lessons mixed in.

I got two points out of the clip:

1) He’s jealous
2) He doesn’t believe we have anything to fear

I was in category number 2, or at least I didn’t want to think it, until after Ozone got into office. It was just too hard to tell how things would shake out with all the election porpaganda flying around. But actions speak much louder than words, and I didn’t like what I saw.

I’d like to toss out one observation that I think might be important.

Justice Ginsberg is indeed liberal, but after reading many of the court decisions she has been recently involved in, she appears draws a line between what she believes ought to be and what the constitution says to a greater extent than one like Souter who is so willing to look anywhere but the constitution for reason.

To me, she appears to have become the swing vote over time, and this year especially. I never thought I would even think this, but I would hate to see her go because I fear that any of Obama’s nominees would be just like Souter and if that is the case, we could see founding principles losing even more ground that we’ve gained.

I’m no Shep fan but I think he’s just hyping Beck’s show, just my $.02

They would triple the ratings of his pathetic show by putting Laurie Dhue in his place.

Haven’t watched the Drama Queen since Katrina. Turned out to be a putz.

[. . . ought to be a counselor/analyst!]

It's no psychological profile but simply the job profile of anyone you see on TV delivering news. The anchors and on-camera “reporters” are actors reading scripts prepared by their staffs and producers. “Broadcast Journalism” is much closer as a discipline to Drama than to Journalism.

Dan Rather, who was at the top of his “profession,” made errors that a summer high school intern at a weekly newspaper wouldn't make. Rather rose in his field because of his looks, voice, charisma and ability to portray someone on-camera who is competent and informed. The Bush Air Guard farce exposed him as a shallow stumble bum.

Shepherd Smith is pro Obama...just listen to his inflections as he reads his teleprompter.

Like many homosexuals he thinks the Left is more accommodating to him.

and he is probably right.

I'm an Ole Miss graduate too from 1975 and I am quite ashamed of Shepherd.

My condolences to any freepers from Holly Springs.

Shep lost it with me when he starting blowing Obama on election night. Beck is ok, he emotes too much, which people eat it. Apparently, CNN viewers thought he was an independent.

He isn’t a journalist but an actor portraying a journalist.

As another poster pointed out, that's a brilliant description and sums up this punk in one succint sentence.

Thanks for the link. I’ve written so often about Geraldo and Shep that they probably have me on their spam list.

I do not watch allot of Shep, but I know of his faggy mannerism and annoying personality. I recently watched the movie Idiocracy set 500 years in the future. FOX dominates TV news, and a shirtless bare chested anchorman, looking allot like Shep, is shown next to a blond bimbo anchorette. The mannerisms of the Shep like anchorman are so perfect I was rolling on the ground. One of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.

Fox News is not conservative. It doesn’t even claim to be conservative. It says it is fair and balanced, and I think it generally is. Balanced means that there are liberals and conservatives. There was an analysis of how much reporters for the networks contributed two each party. Fox reporters contributed more to Democrats than to Republicans. I think Shep is probably liberal. I remember O’Reilly attacking Limbaugh for no good reason too. (I think of O’Reilly as an earlier era liberal - not a conservative.)

Shepard Smith’s mocking of Glen Beck was very unprofessional. I’m glad that Chris Wallace challenged Shep on it. Shep even went off unprepared, blaming Glen and “his oversized ego” for the large satellite dish that belonged to someone else. Why does Fox tolerate one member of their staff disparaging another member. Mock the host and you are mocking the audience. Is that good for ratings?

I dont know if there are restrictions on cutting and pasting from Wikipedia, but you all should check Smiths bio out on Wiki. Holy moley,,,you would think that he is the only talking head on fox, ranking up there with Dan Rather and Peter Jennings. They say he ranks pay wise with Brian Williams and Charles Gibson,,,woo hoo.....OK I lied,,,, “The Fox Report with Shepard Smith remains the top-rated newscast in cable news” Sorta sorts him out doesnt it? Wikipedia and Snopes,,,trusted sources of information...gag...

God bless you. I'd say Hotty Toddy and all that but I never did back then either. I was just there two weeks ago. Best thing Ole Miss had besides a once lovely respect for tradition:
