God uses his enemies in various ways for His purposes. Sometimes to chastise His children, and others to be cannon fodder for His children. If you cannot pray for the defeat of your enemies, then why pray for anything? Maybe we should pray for the defeat of our country so God's enemies should prosper? Bill Ayres is a godless, communist, atheist. You can pray for his salvation if you wish, but not for his victory over God's people. I pray for the salvation of Obama, but I also pray our country can survive long enough for his defeat. These are not cross purposes.
