Fox News Sean Hannity invited Meghan McCain on his show to talk about court filing by 9/11 defendants detained at Guantanamo Bay. The group of detainees had admitted that they were terrorists to the bone.
"They declared war on us and were fighting a war and we know there is about 60-some odd detainees that have gone back to the battlefield. Why for the first time ever would we give rights to enemy combatants?" asked Hannity.
Meghan McCain seemed to agree.
"What competent person thinks this is a good idea? Literally when I think of my brother and his people and his platoon, the people i know over there fighting for this so we can let them go so they can attack us again? Its insane," she said.
Hannity then moved to the subject of torture. "Do you disagree with your dad at all about enhanced interrogations?" asked Hannity.
John McCain has been vocal about his opposition to torture.
"My attitude is that if we capture an enemy combatant in the battlefield — or we can use Osama bin Laden — who may have information about a pending attack. You know what, I dont have any problem taking his head sticking it underwater and scaring the living daylights out of him and making him think were drowning him and Im a Christian," declared Hannity.
McCain disagreed.
"I think its what separates us from the terrorists . My father could never lift me up as a child because he cant move his arm. He cant ride a bike because he cant bend his knee because he was tortured. I think he knows better, than you, no offense," she said.

In a previous thread I said Meaghan was fat based on her picture— but in this vid she looks kinda of hot.

Its legitimate for her to defend her dad and his views.
I don’t have to agree with her, though. He’s not my dad.
Sean shouldn’t give Meghan legitimacy by inviting her onto his show. She is a ditz following her media hound daddy.
What her father went through in Hanoi isn’t even in the same UNIVERSE as waterboarding.
Meghan is not guilty, BTW.
It makes me nervous that Meghan McCain is playing footsies with the media. They’ll eat her lunch.
And Hannity’s media show has little meat, IMO. If the word “me” wasn’t in his vocabulary, he’d be rendered speechless.
Dear Meghan . Did you know the people who tortured your father weren't terrorist? Maybe you should debate the daughter of someone who's father's head was cut off by one of these terrorists. it could be enlightening.

This is too much like the arguement a man can't understand the pain of childbirth.
I think only those who have had a family member experience what John McCain went through should be criticizing Meghan.
Whatever you think of her personally, it’s unfair to criticize how she feels about her father’s Vietnam experience.
Meghan probably has no friends nor dates because she is a Republican therefor she is acting “liberal” on TV. I hope it helps.
You might even say that the people who tortured her father won the war.
Not fair of Hannity at all.
He’s engaged in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
I wish he had asked Meghan why she voted for John Kerry.
