"going Galt" does not mean dropping out all together, it just means stopping feeding the beast as much as possible.
B-Chan misses the point. To “go Galt” means to stop producing. When the real producers stop producing or dramatically slow down, there is not much in the way of income taxes due. Many have already “gone Galt” and many more will do so in the next few years. As John Galt did, most of us fly under the radar.
As soon as you decide to “go Ragnar” and steal the government’s gold to recompensate me for the taxes they have taken from me, then sure.
