Here is video from today's Meet the Press, March 8, 2009, where former House Speaker Newt Gingrich hammered the partisan attack leveled against Rush Limbaugh by Obama's White House, led by Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Gingrich also said in "not particularly" interested in running for President in 2012, but he did not rule it out. . . . . . (Watch Video)

I saw it and MSNBC will rerun the whole show at 5pm est. He was excellent in asking if Obama is truly trying to stimulate the economy or just redistribute the money! He said his plan is radical and spoke out against all these huge tax hikes Obama has planned.
good line on NBC, “it,s like asking whether Chris Matthews helps or hurts the Democratic Party,” as a rejoinder to does Rush Limbaugh help or hurt the Republicans.

Newt has always been a great speaker, a brilliant thinker and a superb pundit. I think his drawback is his impatience in dealing with the minutiae of the day to day grind of political life, his ability to ruffle too many feathers and of course his personal life.

To think that I was going to write that jerk's (Newt's) name in on my ballot before Palin came along embarrasses me.
Folks. My opinion is, if we don't find and support some men in our party with the intestinal fortitude to speak the truth without fear of offending some weak-kneed moderate or liberal this country is doomed.
The truth is the truth and the truth will set us free. Anything less will enslave us.
