Hope may finally be making a comeback but not in Great Britain. The Brits are catching on to the Obamas.
As the American media are starting continues to drool, the Brits are starting to take a closer look at Michelle Obama and don't like what they see. BluegrassRedstate and The Telegraph reported:
We may just LURVE Michelle's fashion sense. But Michelle doesn't reciprocate our affection, one bit. Her broad-brush view of history associates Brits with the wicked white global hegemony responsible for the slave trade. Never mind that a white, Tory Englishman - William Wilberforce - brought the slave trade to an end. Judging by her record, Michelle does not make room for such subtle nuance.
Consider her notorious statement that: "For the first time in my adult life I am really proud of my country." Consider her (till-recently suppressed) Princeton thesis, "Princeton Educated Blacks And The Black Community."

Pay close attention to the British press. They always report what’s going on in America far better than our MSM.

I had not read this, or even connected any of this to Mrs. Obama, but I have basically come to the same conclusion regarding the meaning behind some of Obama’s bizarre behavior toward the British.
You may be right; but this friend has a deep seated hatred of America perhaps almost on par with Obama.
I remember taking sociology as a freshman and wondering why the hell it didn’t make any sense. There was no there there, logic was missing, and I was bored out of my mind. More edifying reading the phone book, more memorable too.
If we attack Obama or his wife they play the victim card. We must stick to challenging their policies.
