Mark Levin versus Davis Frum (video)
Mark Levin Radio Show ^ | EC

Posted on 03/05/2009 7:55:24 PM PST by nysuperdoodle

Is there a civil war starting in the Republican Party? Frum and his crew of moderates think they have a point... Rush, Levin, Hannity, and the talk radio crowd are too abrasive and "self-indulgent" for their tastes... but then I can't recall Wills, Frum, Brooks, or any of those guys ever inspiring me to do anything. Rush inspired me to go out and start a radio show.

The bottom line is that Rush wants to lay out a plan for victory... and the moderates just want to figure out how to lose with grace.

The moderates got their guy with McCain, and then half of them bailed and supported Obama. These are not the people we need telling us how to win.

Wills, Frum, Brooks, Noonan et al are Cocktail Weenie Conservatives. They pretend to be Conservative while looking down their noses at real Conservatives in hopes of impressing, beside themselves, their DemoRat overlords; so they can still be invited to all the DC cocktail parties and rub elbows with all the “Kool Kommie” kids. Moderate RINO’s are so pathetic; maybe we can trade them for the “Blue Dogs”.

Great find. Frum began his “conservative” career by trashing Pat Buchanan in The American Spectator. Now he’s trying to repeat his performance by trashing Rush Limbaugh.

Amen!

FRUM to LEVIN: We need to have a more relevant approach to economic issues that understand that it is health care that is crushing the incomes of middle income Americans. We need a new approach to the environment that accepts the legitimacy of… (Ten seconds) We need a softer line on social issues and an emphasis on competent, intelligent and fairer issues…

David Frum, STICK IT YOU KOOL AIDE DRINKER!

Add Hugh Hewitt to that list, even if Limbaugh foolishly thinks Hewitt is his ally. The squat-to-pee wing of RINOism is getting to be a lengthy list.

Mark Levine is the man! Frum sounded like a metrosexual. Funny how most moderates are like that.

The moderate chumps caused the crises. The fooled themselves into thinking that Obama was a moderate, kept their mouths shut over government meddling into lending, and mad jack asses out of themselves harassing conservatives between 2006 and 2008. True conservatives should shun these buffoons and send them along the way.

I listened to Levine’s slicing-and-dicing of Frum and I think you nailed it. Frum was almost in tears by the end of the segment, I fully expected him to fly into a hissy about how “it’s not fair, you have the volume control!” I’ll bet the man-clothes are kept in his wifes closet, too.

IMHO Frum is trying to drive traffic to his new web site where he spends his days trashing Palin, Limbaugh, etc...

EXCELLENT ANALYSIS! He would probably like watching dancing with the stars with Rahm Emanuel

That sounds about right. Frum has had a career of advancing himself by trashing those to his right. He’s hardly alone in doing that, Medved and Hewitt are two more that come to mind. It worked for Frum as long as people who hired him were willing to put up with his behavior- which says as much about his enablers as it does about him. Why anyone listens to that effete sissy is a mystery.

I have this sneaking suspicion the David Frum is not only not conservative, he’s not even a Republican. He’s Canadian, and my gut tells me he’s a Liberal masquerading as a “conservative” who worked his way into an ostensibly Conservative media forum, National Review, all the while trying to undermine Conservatism with his Liberal Conservative Bent - which is exactly what you’d expect a Liberal operativve to do. Example: this fool tried to tell Levin that his data showed Republican’s are horribly dmaged when having Rush’s name attached to them. If THAT doesn’t sound like a liberal, then nothing does.

Nothing about him smells right to me.

I’m only five minutes into the video, but I sure hope that Levin calls Frum a dummy at least once.

Listen to Frum’s nervous, weasely laughter, what a loser. He’s so weak intellectually and as a person he buys the left’s definition of everything.

He’s one of these weasels who wants to be liked by the maximum amount of people, ready, willing and able to succumb to the left without a fight. Levin is right, he’s a narcissist.

Read this tripe from Frum: RINO BARF ALERT!

President Obama and Rush Limbaugh do not agree on much, but they share at least one thing: Both wish to see Rush anointed as the leader of the Republican party. Here’s Rahm Emanuel on Face the Nation yesterday: “the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican party.”

What a great endorsement for Rush! (And we know Rush is fond of compliments – listen to his loving account in his CPAC speech of the birthday lunch given him by President Bush just before Inauguration Day.)

But what about the rest of the party? Here’s the duel that Obama and Limbaugh are jointly arranging:

On the one side, the president of the United States: soft-spoken and conciliatory, never angry, always invoking the recession and its victims. This president invokes the language of “responsibility,” and in his own life seems to epitomize that ideal: He is physically honed and disciplined, his worst vice an occasional cigarette. He is at the same time an apparently devoted husband and father. Unsurprisingly, women voters trust and admire him.

And for the leader of the Republicans? A man who is aggressive and bombastic, cutting and sarcastic, who dismisses the concerned citizens in network news focus groups as “losers.” With his private plane and his cigars, his history of drug dependency and his personal bulk, not to mention his tangled marital history, Rush is a walking stereotype of self-indulgence – exactly the image that Barack Obama most wants to affix to our philosophy and our party. And we’re cooperating! Those images of crowds of CPACers cheering Rush’s every rancorous word – we’ll be seeing them rebroadcast for a long time.

Rush knows what he is doing. The worse conservatives do, the more important Rush becomes as leader of the ardent remnant. The better conservatives succeed, the more we become a broad national governing coalition, the more Rush will be sidelined.

You glossed over Obama’s ...

1) shady connections
2) lack of proof of citizenship
3) drunken sailor with fists full of viagra spending
4) numerous promises broken (where do I begin?)
5) tax cheats a plenty in his cabinet
6) change = government owning everything
7) never had a real job where he could do something other than be “present”
8) admitted coke user
9) pro-Hamas
10) ...

The left and RINOs are waking up to this fraud. Please see http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/im-maureen-dowd-and-ive-been-had/ for more.

If not Rush, who? Who else is articulate, with 20 million listeners, a web-site, and a research staff?
