Im sure there are decent, law abiding people who are held hostage by the thugs.
Its a damn shame when the government wants to take away their right to defend themselves. If enough of the good people got together, the bad ones would have a whole lot less power.
The scary thing is, I believe our government prefers it the other way-not just to deceive everyone into the gun control nonsense-but to make people afraid.
When people are afraid, they wont go out and fight back against any of the gangsters-including the ones who run our government.
I live in a good neighborhood, but I never go out unless I have to.
By letting gangs go unchecked, they can indirectly control the population for free.
