The Washington Institute for Near East Policy released a chilling report about Iranian Nukes that said in part:
Whatever Americans may think, Israeli leaders seem convinced that at least for now, they have a military option. However, Israelis see the option fading over the next one to two years, not only because of Iran’s nuclear progress and dispersion of its program but also because improved Iranian air defenses, especially the expected delivery of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system from Russia, are seen by Israel as seriously limiting its military options. Israel therefore may feel compelled to act before the option disappears.....
Israelis surely don't welcome a war in which. Yet they have no choice but to defend themselves against an enemy that promises to obliterate them if Iran acquires the weapon to do so. The clock is ticking, Iran is not only close to developing that weapon, but the Russian weapons to protect them are close to being delivered. The tragic paradox of the wasted "diplomatic dance" of the past few years, is that the diplomatic and intelligence gyrations offered in the name of avoiding war with Iran, have most probably brought Israel and Iran closer to the brink than if forceful international action was taken earlier.
Iran is much stronger now, showing once again that appeasement ultimately ends in war.

Yep. Israel’s existence is in doubt. There is little doubt that Iran would not hesitate using nuke’s against Israel the second they had the chance. Israel will do what it needs to do to survive. Screw the rest of the world.

What kills me is that we have been fighting with Iran since the Carter hostage crisis in 78. The US should be the one raining down the bombs on Iran after 30 years of grief. What a disgraceful state this country is in.
I don’t care what anyone says, sicking Saddam and Iraq on them and putting a million in the ground was still worth it.
I feel that Israel has only held off because the US has been able to persuade them not to attack. The grounds have always been that the US provided the balance in the region and would continue to do so. Israel has trusted the US in the past. If they continue to do so now they had better think again. BiBi is not that way though, he knows better.
They have their work cut out for them. Iran is a large country and is a mountain fortress interspersed with vast deserts. Even an air attack alone, which I don’t think could do very much good since the Iranians have their assets scattered, would be very hard.
The only real “solution” I can see is denial of access via dirty nukes. It is extremely likely that the degree of fortification they have managed would make Iraq look like child’s play. The mountain ranges are deep and tunnels are likely very long and well protected.
It will be a nasty, nasty business.
