Obama's Intel Chair: Supported China's Tyranny, Blamed US For 9/11, Anti-Israel

Dr. Charles Freeman is expectd to assume his new job as chairman of the National Intelligence Council. What's most outrageous, is his position requires no congressional approval.

President Obama once again displays his radical, anti-American policy.

In a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair, Rep. Pete Hoekstra makes these disturbing and sickening points about Charles Freeman.

The pre-Democracy protests lasted seven weeks from Hu's death on 15 April until tanks cleared Tiananmen Square on 4 June. In Beijing, the resulting military response to the protesters by the PRC government left many civilians dead or injured. The official death toll according to the Chinese government was 200 to 300, but Chinese student associations and the Chinese Red Cross reported 2,000 to 3,000 deaths.

Mr. Freeman defended the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre as "a monument to overly cautious action on the part of the [Chinese] leadership, not an example of rash action." "I do not believe it is acceptable for any country to allow the heart of its national capital to be occupied by dissidents intent on disrupting the normal functions of government, however appealing to foreigners their propaganda may be."

Are we to believe that Dr. Freeman does not support protests in support of Democracy?

Dr. Freeman stated at an April 9,2002 Washington Institute for Near East Policy seminar: "Saudis and other Gulf Arabs were shocked by the level of ignorance and antipathy displayed by Americans toward them and toward Islam after September 11. The connections between Islam and suicide bombing is a false connection....And what of America's lack of introspection about September 11? Instead of asking what might have caused the attack, or questioning the propriety of the national response to it, there is an ugly mood of chauvinism. Before Americans call on others to examine themselves, we should examining ourselves.

Freeman implies the attacks of September 11th, 2001 were America's fault? Excuse me? Who is this jerk!?

Not surprising, considering he is also anti-Israel.

"In a February 24 WSJ op-ed, Dr. Freeman alleged harsh criticism of U.S. relations with Israel and the "Israeli lobby."

The Wall Street Journal reports:

WASHINGTON -- The ranking Republican on the House intelligence committee called on the Obama administration to withdraw its pick for the top intelligence analyst post.

Charles Freeman, a veteran diplomat and former senior Pentagon official, is expected to assume his new job as chairman of the National Intelligence Council in the coming weeks.

He has stirred controversy with several statements, including one in which he said the Chinese government acted too slowly to crack down on protesters in Tiananmen Square in 1989. Mr. Freeman has also criticized American policies supporting Israel.

Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R., Mich.) said in an interview, "I hope that this is one that's withdrawn."

Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair is aware ofcongressional concerns, said his spokeswoman, Wendy Morigi. She praised Mr. Freeman for his "ability to draw upon his intellectual strength and operational experience to lay out insightful, understandable assessments of complex problems."

Ms. Morigi said the post is "one of analysis, not policy." Mr. Freeman will be an honest broker and focus on "our national interest, not that of the various countries and cultures he understands," she said. Mr. Freeman wasn't available for comment, she said.

Mr. Freeman is president of the nonprofit Middle East Policy Council, which he said in a 2006 interview with a Saudi media outlet owes its endowment to the "generosity of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia." That donation was $1 million, according to a Middle Eastern news service, Zawya. Several lawmakers have questioned whether the relationship suggests a conflict of interest.

President Obama, this is outrageous. Your anti-American, pro-Islam agenda is becoming more lucid each day. Why are you doing this to us? Why are you openly trying to destroy my country?
