With his wife in a seemingly irreversible coma, Michael Smith brought his children to Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati to say goodbye to their mother before she was pulled off life support.
But Lori Smiths 8-year-old daughter Megan wasnt ready to say goodbye. Instead, she said, Mom, if you love us and you hear us, move your eyes.
Lori moved her eyes, and that was the first sign that I knew Lori was there, Michael Smith said. I didnt know if Lori was being mom for the last time or what, but God really gave us a miracle and brought Lori back to us.
Heart stopped twice Some 56 days after Lori went to the hospital for what appeared to be a no-drama birth of the couples fourth child, she is despite long odds against her back at the familys home in Morrow, Ohio. Very moving, and says a lot about the power of the bond between mother and child.
Hope they can stay ahead of 'em.
I hate to make light of things, but she’s gonna’ be pissed when she sees what has happened to this country and has no money left!!
Our coming socialized healthcare system would have pulled the plug weeks earlier. Under it, we won’t see these stories anymore.
Under the planned Obama/democrat “reforms” her care would unreimbursible by Medicaid or Medicare, thereby pressuring the doctors and family to murder, oops I meant euthanize this nice lady.
I wouldn’t give dad that much credit - after all, mom was being pulled off life support and they were there to say goodbye, not “dammit, keep those machines on!” Sooner or later, mom is going to ask a tough question or two.
These miracles happen a lot.....yet they denie CHRIST.
I believe there’s an anniversary of Terri Schiavo coming up the 31st of March.
“Our coming socialized healthcare system would have pulled the plug weeks earlier.”
She was in the full coma for just several days. After that it was obvious she was recovering.
Thank God she awoke before the euthenasia ghouls got a hold of her.
Why do you say they deny Christ? They give a lot of thanks and praise to God in that article. They sound like believers to me.
She may have had an advance directive requesting just that.
Both my DH and I do.
Life saved again!
No, not them, not the family.
I meant the ones like the o that say we conservatives cling to our guns and religion....the ones that put Christians to task and non believers.
