In this clip CNN host DL Hughley says the Republican convention "literally looked like Nazi Germany." RNC Chairman Michael Steele responds....."you're right." Not exactly the spirited rejoinder that one might expect from the newly elected RNC chief.
I don't want to be too tough on Mr. Steele here. I don't think he really thinks that DL Hughley is right. Maybe he just isn't that good at thinking on his feet, or, as he said yesterday, doesn't "articulate" well sometimes. If that's the case, perhaps he needs to stay away from snake pits like CNN and stay behind a podium in front of friendly audiences.

The RNC needs to get out of the way. They ARE the problem.
Mr. Steele is oblivious to reality.

Fascism- a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
Shall we look at how this played out in Spain, Italy, or Germany?

however obama has the crowds. He has the networking to get the crowds out.
We we try to do a tea party rebellion we have no message, no network and “birther” opportunists come out and jump in front of the cameras and the DBM is just too happy to oblige.
Instead of solutions Mr. Steele is going after the hip hop vote...

I wonder if Mr. Steele would have said anything if they had a pile of oreo cookies sitting on the desk.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE
I am outraged that Hughley called the people at the CPAC convention, Nazis. I will call and email the RNC and let them know how I feel about Mr. Steele. I will also call and email CNN and demand that Hughley be fired. And I will call and email Mitt Romney (CPAC) and let him know comments like this can't go unanswered.
That radio show host (can't think of his name) was fired for calling a black girls basketball team “nappy headed”. This is worse, much worse and I may be alone but I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.
I'm proud to be a conservative and I'm really tired of seeing conservatives being hit in the face with pies, having oreo cookies thrown at them, being attacked when they are on stage and being called every name in the book. We've sat back long enough and have done nothing. It's time we did something to stop the hateful, vile, revolting actions and comments directed at us.
Free Republic has a huge following. We have a voice. Let's come together and use that voice to stop the attacks on our beliefs.
And...to nysuperdoodle and Evil Conservative Radio.
Michael Steele is the head of the RNC not CPAC and not the Republican party....Rush is (LOL)

Hughley says the Republican National Convention--not CPAC.
I don't remember seeing a single swastika at last summer's convention (unless it was being carried by leftist protestors outside), and they do their best at the conventions to highlight black and Hispanic Republicans.
If Michael Steele can't or won't defend his party against accusations of racism, he's totally useless.

Fascism is in a phrase, government control of industry. They don’t own it, like communists, but they might as well.
This is EXACTLY what liberals have now in the US to a good deal (best example: all the whacko environmental controls - including on INDIVIDUAL property).
Liberals want communism, but fascism is a step toward that. These idiots think it’s the “opposite” of communism, when in fact opposite is anarchy.

We also have the networking. We have hundreds of conservative bloggers and web sites we could network with to get the crowd out.
Thousands of people were out on February 27 for the Tea Parties across the country. Hundreds if not thousands are planning more Tea Parties. Don't underestimate freepers. Some may need a good swift kick, but I believe we, as a group, have a lot of power.
