Good! The thermostat needs to be reset. Years of creeping political correctness has redefined what is acceptable and not acceptable to debate, and this has had the unmistakable effect of quieting those who oppose the left’s agenda. Time to redefine what is politically correct and stop letting the left hide from the truth. Limbaugh said nothing yesterday that wasn't defensible and relevant.

He said the tone of this speech was "mocking, bullying, full of contempt, and harsh."

Translation: "OMG, this guy is better than the Messiah. He's not only a great speaker, but actually says something well worth listening to."

I'm not big on bullying, contempt-laden speeches. I know one when I see one. Rush's speech was neither. It was just so very good.

If you Google 'new castrati' you will get a much better picture than anything I can type here. It's basically a feminized man (onions removed) who may or may not speak with a pronounced lisp and subscribes to every leftist cause. The expression first appeared in 2006 in this article and has been popularized by Rush since.

They can’t handle the truth.

To them, truth is hate speech.

This is about a speech that uses variations of the phrase “I want everyone in this country to succeed” repeatly. CNN is full of shit, and I can’t wait for them to go belly up with the rest of the lying, treacherous MSM.

Gee, my TV set must be on the fritz. I didn’t see anything like that!

Obviously, you need one of those converter boxes, which slants everything on the screen steeply over to the left. < /sarc >

We are certain of one thing - Rush drew more than a little blood and was throwing out red meat on average about every 20 seconds. This frightens a get-along, go-along fellow like Bill Schneider, who has not had a challenging thought cross his mind since probably age three.

I watched Schneider's response live. A beautiful thing to behold. His face contorted in the sly smile of a hyena pickin’ at the leftovers left by it's betters. “He crossed the line” socialist Bill proclaimed. Something about Rush daring to understand the motivation for Obama’s marxist goals. Then the sly smile turned to angry slobbering platitudes and petered out from there. He never refuted a single fact in Rush's speech. Like I said, it was a beautiful thing to behold.

Poor Willie. The part where a deaf Rush Limbaugh imitates Willie Schneider's OWN voice as a member of the New Castrati must have hurt.

No media bias./s

BILL SCHNEIDER: Well, it was an angry tone. He was the hero of 1994. Fifteen years ago when Republicans won a big victory in Congress. And that was the year of the angry white men. When they came to power they honored him as being the prophet who led them to victory. Well, this was a very angry speech. By the way, they’re not all white and they’re not all men but they are angry conservative voters. They didn’t do so well last year but they’re still angry. The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech. One that while it rallied the conservative audience it also angered a lot of Democrats and people who aren’t particularly partisan just by the tone of it.

Obama is “really sweeping people off their feet” — with statistics to back up his sick-making adoration, of course! — Schneider concluded his report by disgracefully stating “the country has just gone through a failed marriage with the current president.”

At the top of the first hour of Tuesday’s The Situation Room on CNN, fill-in anchor Suzanne Malveaux led with Russia’s invasion of Georgia and she cited how “Moscow responded with a show of military muscle that was reminiscent of the Cold War era.” But 40 minutes later, CNN political analyst Bill Schneider contended that raising the very “Cold War” specter CNN had reported could “frighten” voters.

He characterized John McCain’s assessment, about how Vladimir Putin’s “ambitions are to restore the old Russian empire,” as “ominous” and warned that such language may hurt McCain since it could cause “some voters” to “worry: Does he want to start a new Cold War?” Schneider argued: “The risk for McCain is that he could overplay the issue and frighten war-weary voters, whose priorities are at home right now.”

On Wednesday’s “Situation Room,” reporter Bill Schneider, in a piece on minorities in America, very casually alleged that African Americans don’t vote for Republicans because of “the perception of racism.”

Bill Schneider: “President Bush appointed two African-American secretaries of state. Republicans nominated three African-Americans for important statewide offices last year. None of them came close to carrying black voters, which suggests it’s not just the perception of racism that drives most black voters away from the Republican Party. There’s something else. Distrust of the federal government is a core issue for Republicans.”

Bill Schneider: “Well, you know, unlike most Republicans, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger did very well this year and his success carries a message for his fellow Republicans. What do Republicans do now? To paraphrase some famous advice: ‘Go west old party,’ and follow the example of one Republican who had a very good year.

Bill Schneider: “Despite President Bush’s dire warnings, people don’t think congressional Democrats will do anything to weaken national security. President Bush also warned-”

George Bush: “The Democrats are going to raise your taxes. No, I know they don’t want you to know it.”

Schneider: “Guess what? People know it but they voted for the Democrats anyway. Which means they must really want change.

Bill Schneider: “Will Republicans move further to the right? Not if they got the message of the election. Republicans lost because they abandoned the center.
