Annie, you have said something that really resonates with me. It's like they have two faces, one for the constituency and one for the beltway and the media. Which one is real? How are we to know. I think Palin made a good decision when she choose not to attend the CPAC. I watched a little of it and I was not moved, swayed, convinced of anything other than we're going to get more of the same. Neither is real. It's not about ideology for them. It's about power, pay, and perks. It's about attending the good cocktail parties, and being invited to golf outings and ski trips to exclusive resorts. And it's about both parties.
