Perhaps, A Helpful Understanding of Obama

Yesterday marked something of a watershed moment in my life; for the first time since 1980, I exited the U.S. stock and bond market. My "paper" loss was staggering while my actual loss as a long term investor was approximately $900.00. The markets have been an enjoyable hobby of mine since I was 16 years old. That which prompted me to make this move is a new understanding of what this administration is truly all about which I share with you for your consideration, and comment. Hopefully, some of you will provide guidance in determining whether I'm on the right track or not. I freely admit, I may have this somewhat skewed.

What I have come to believe is that while this administration purports to be engaged in a relentless effort to save this economy and the financial markets, the exact opposite is actually the case. If we look at this administrations ideological roots and connections we find that his world view is one which seeks to level the playing field of wealth distribution in the U.S. by impoverishing those they believe have accumulated whatever small amount of wealth they may possess by way of underserved priviledge through mechanisms of institutionalized racism and at the expense of their client base. Theirs is something quite different from the view of the traditional Marxist in that they see this less as a struggle of the worker vs. the capitalist. Rather they see most middle class workers as being unfairly advantaged. That explains their throwing the UAW under the bus through forced reorganization of Chrysler and GM. In so doing they re-write the Union Rules to their liking.

To express this differently, theirs is the view that holds that before the rising tide can lift all boats, they must first sink the biggest boats. Thus, they revel in the loss of wealth in the Stock markets and see in the current market debacle the "chickens coming home to roost" in that the middle and upper middle income groups will see what little wealth they may have accumulated through their 401Ks and savings plans destroyed, reducing these people to a level of total dependence upon the gov't for their well being.

When we start to look at what's going on, one of the most striking features is that this administration doesn't care one wit about how much money is spent by the Federal Gov't. Rather than trying to reign in government spending and allowing failed institutions to go through the normal processes of deconstruction/restructuring through bankruptcy, this administration is throwing huge sums of newly printed dollars into what appears to be an effort to bail them out. In truth what they are doing is insuring the failure of the entire system. And, they know that by having the U.S. gov't intimately involved in the ownership of these failed institutions, they are insuring that the gov't will ultimately have to devalue the currency or, in the alternative, default on the debt itself.

Equally important, and ultimately more personal, they are also involved in embracing the deconstruction of wealth by using the Bankruptcy courts to re-write mortgages. This will have the effect of creating a system whereby the only mortgages people will be able to secure are government mortgages. Thus, the government will decide who qualifies for a mortgage. At the same time they are presiding over the greatest devaluation of real property assets since the 1920's and actively seeing to it that the devaluation process is accelerated and deepened by facilitating a process whereby mortgages will be reset by reducing the principle amounts.

Is this enough? Not hardly. It's not enough to destroy the middle and upper middle income groups. They seek to destroy their infrastructure as well. The current administration will end the tax deductions for Churchs. They will cast pro-life health professionals to the curb. The media will be cleansed of the Hannity's and Limbaughs through the back door mechanism of rules concerning local control. Private education will be made far too expensive to survive. Home schooling will be outlawed. Health care will be rationed such that the politically incorrect will see their ultimate demise hastened through denial of care. Oh, and lest I forget, know that the bans on various types of weapons and the imposition of regulations for continued ownership of those weapons will have the dual effects of criminalizing a huge portion of the population in fly-over country while at the same time providing a mechanism for confiscation of those weapons.

Ah, but there's more! One of the hallmarks of this type of new government we're seeing emerge is the facilitation of a One Party State. How will that work? Card check for unionization. Jobs will be had only by those who sign on to the union. The union will of course be a function of the "Party". If you're not a card carrying Party member, you won't be able to join the union. Thus, you'll not be able to have a job.

It's hard to believe that a U.S. administration would intentionally seek to do these things. But what I've come to believe is that when you look at the ideologues behind this administration, Bill Ayers, et al and those who have funded its' election, i.e., George Soros, you see some answers as to the why's. They see world redemption in nothing less than the reduction of the U.S. and it's population to second world status. Thus we will see a sharp and profound deepening of this crisis through new mechanisms of wealth deconstruction through such things as cap and trade. It isn't enough to take from the rich. It's also necessary to reduce to a bare minimum the amount of disposable income to the middle and upper middle classes. Only in this manner can rationing of necessities such as water and energy be achieved. Ultimatley, this is Reparations in the extreme.

Finally, as I understand this process, I fully expect to see the Stock market rally some time in March. It will be another sucker rally. We have to remember that personal and household debt in the U.S. is currently at a level equal to 100% of GDP. There has only been one other period of time in U.S. history when personal and household debt equalled 100% of GDP. 1929.

Obama is a marxist ideolog whose "fundamental" change includes the dismantling and destruction of the free market, replacing it with a command economy.

It's about being a pomegranate -- wealthy, selfish liberals like Pelosi and Speilberg and Kennedy who insist that you be an impoverished servant ruled by them -- our wealthy overlords.

I recall, back during the campaign, warning about this twisted monster, and warning my friends...if you put a Marxist wanna-be-dictator in the White House, this is what you will get.

Tragically, I was right.

I also fear this analysis is spot on. What I can’t understand is how every democrat could go along for this descent in to hell. While the extreme left controls the party, not every democrat is aligned with such radical thinking. I pray for a larger revolt to stop this madness.

My gadsden flag is now up below the stars and stripes on my flag pole. Perhaps its time to turn old glory upside down as well.

“What I can’t understand is how every democrat could go along for this descent in to hell.”

I can think of two possible reasons:

1) In the back of their minds, Democrats really believe the U.S. is a “bad” nation that must be “reformed”.

2) Democrats are in power, and they want to stay there.
