Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is still standing strong, admitting she didnt do anything wrong, but has agreed to reimburse the state almost $7,000 for nine trips taken by her children. This payment settles an ethics complaint that was filed back in October. The trips in question include Bristol accompanying her to a conference in New York City and another as her husband Tom competed in the Iron Dog snow machine race.
The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said in a written statement that shes obligated to meet Alaskans across the state. She insists, I am blessed to have a large and loving family, and the discharge of my duties should not prevent me from spending time with them.
Palins lawyer claims she is now exonerated from all wrongdoing regarding the complaint and says theres no ethics violation. Palin agreed not to contest certain charges and Anchorage lawyer Tim Petumenos, hired by the state to investigate the ethics complaint, agreed not to file a formal accusation or take the case to a hearing.
You’d think after eviscerating this loving family for months they could get Mr. Palin’s name right; its Todd not Tom. Morons.
Get off it, Troll! We’re all sick of your misguided daily comparisons of Governor Palin with Peggy Hill.
‘the brigade of ankle-biters’ will never let up until Sarah withdraws permanently from the battlefield, bows down to Obama and calls him my Messiah or drops dead. You can count on that!
Who has the most influence on or is the more dangerous to your future and the future of America—Bristol Palin or the Messiah?
If you answer the former, then congratulations you have just become a prized idiot!
Which reminds me... Did the Clintons ever return the stolen silver ware and china?
I agree, many of us are sick at misguided comparisons of Gov. Palin and Peggy Hill. How long has Peggy Hill been on tv? How long has Gov. Palin been on the national radar? The comparison is totally idiotic.
