This is definitely a time to think about the financial effect of what we say - even though the political aspects might make us want to shout.
Well, I will post that the price of oil will rise to 65 to 85 in the near future.
For various reasons, oil seldom rests at under 3 times the incremental cost of production. Cost of production is roughly $25ish, on average.
We are currently burning through a glut, which will vanish. There will be a shortfall as production stopped abruptly, casing a huge, but short-term, spike in the oil price.
(Yes, I have been in the oil business many, many years. I know of what I post.)
Terrible choice isn’t?
