Well, not really, more like Blagoyevitch if anything, but there were folks captured by the Spanish in wars against the Ottomans ~ the Spanish actually had a fort or two in South Carolina and prisoners were frequently sent there only to escape as soon as possible.

Probably a few Abdul Aziz's got loose, but not many, and none of them would be Arabic speaking. By the time of the Spanish/Ottoman conflict, the Arabs were a servile people not considered fit for military duty.
