Which is fine. But if that's what she's going to do, she needs to quit scheduling stuff out of state, like this, or CPAC.
Cancellations, absent an emergency, don't reflect a good organization.
With a hostile media looking for the slightest slip from her organization, she can't afford to be merely 'as good as', she has to be better.
Alaska is her #1 priority right now, not running for President.
If she is interested in running, she needs to be thinking about, and working on, both. The 2012 campaign is starting very soon.
so yeah she is damned if she does, damned if she doesnt
Agreed. The media will spin it against her either way. So the issue isn't what she does, it's that she needs to appear decisive. And the cancellations don't help.
She went to that alfalfa conference to spend some time with Obama.
Did she schedule it, or was it just the NGO proposing the attendeees? They could hardly leave the Chairwoman of the National Resources Committee off the invite list. But it's her choice if she attends, and when she confirms or declines.
Perhaps that is why she never scheduled CPAC.
