Massive bureaucracy looks for problems where they do not exist. For example, a tropical fish, legal in all states north of Florida, the pirhana, is illegal in Maine. The reason, according to officials is, “we do not want careless aquarists releasing this dangerous fish into our waterways. Never mind that the fish can not survive in water cooler than 60 degrees. Never ind that the water temperature in Maine rarely rises above 60 degrees. It is dangerous because some busybody bureaucrat said so. That makes it so.
REAGAN: “Government isn’t the solution to the problem. GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM!”
