U.S Bank CEO being strongarmed into TARP

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Government
KEYWORDS: banks; forced; strongarm; tarp
forced nationalization.

I'd close my accounts with bank of amigo if i could find another bank that could provide the same services and hasn't made a deal with the devil (FED).

I don’t know if it would serve your needs, but I have been a member of a Credit Union for 15 years. Serves us great.

Does anyone know of a good national bank that is almost nationwide that is good.. My wife and I are planning on moving out of state and I don’t like the idea of going to one bank to another when we move.

The accurate title to the article in the St. Louis Business Journal that you link to in your posting link is —

U.S. Bank CEO: TARP program is ‘lousy’

We use accurate titles to prevent duplication. That’s a rule here on Free Republic. I know you haven’t been here long, but you should know now.

The other title you gave is some “bulletin board” where someone posted that for the name of their thread, and it’s *not* the title of the article.

Also, when filling out the posting form, they have a spot for the “name” of the publication that you put in there. They also have a date for the article, as to when it was posted. They also have the name of an author.

Please post all that information as is requested on the form. If you want this to be “news” and a posting of an “article” then be precise and accurate.

I wouldn't bet on the continued existance of a line of credit at any bank, especially Bank of Aztlan. I maxed mine out to get to the cash with the idea that it would be far harder for them to demand immediate payment than to just say no more borrowing.
