The strategic battle for the future economic structure of the United States and the world for that matter is being played out in the media each day in a form that suggests the only more obvious sign would be a billboard that says: "Pay attention: this is how this turns out". The only people that are missing the signs ahead are the ones who are looking at the old map in their lap or at their word processor.
Here's how I see this little class war playing out over the next few years. Barack and the Bureaucrats are going to make sure that the bottom 1/3 of the work force has jobs, housing, and health care...
So he wants to “give” every one a job.
Sure, that will work out really great ... until the first morning when it requires getting up at 6:30am and showing up on time.

Good rant by Dan Taylor. Thanks for posting.
and that everybody else gets to pay for it
No problem. All of those jobs will be union, and nobody can be fired.
One big problem with government ‘giving’ everybody a job is that the government quickly starts to determine which job you get. Guess who gets the good jobs? Obmamabuddies and buddiesofbuddies perhaps? Children of big donors? But for the rest of us it will go something more like, “Well, here’s your guaranteed job little person, and we sure hope you like it because you’re not going to have a choice. We also hope you like your luxurious, government-issued yurt ‘housing’ and shiny, new bicycle which you may ride to your assigned job. The solar and wind power in the yurt will be just fine when the sun is shining and wind is blowing, and when that’s not the case......well, you’ll probably be working too many hours to notice once you include your ‘volunteer service’ time, anyway.
There are those who have class, and those who don’t.
The Chattering Class will have their own tax rate.
