All the article refer to a ‘private jet’ ... if it was a military jet, it wasn’t ‘private’ and throws in a whole set of new questions. I am not familiar with ‘private jets’ going in and out of Andrews Air Force Base.

So the tax money from my capitalist job is taken to pay for a government plane so a commissar can vote to turn the country into a socialist paradise?

I hope I wake up from this nightmare before long.

Pretty sure that everyone is using the term ‘private’ to distinguish from a commercial plane. The reports I have seen have identified it as a government plane (not AF1), so it very likely was a military plane.

The President himself has acknowledged that the expense of the flight is being borne by taxpayers and that it was considerable.
