Gregg should have resigned when Obama stole the census from Commerce. I wish he’d done it then because it would have forced the press to cover the census theft more. But still, better late than never.

Guess he won’t have much to do with the census thingy in his area.

That’s one more ‘NAY’ vote on Porkulus...

If one of the old biddies from Maine has got her knickers twisted by the ‘compromise’, this could be a whole new ballgame....

Jus’ conjecturin’......

“She, in turn, had agreed not to run for a full term in 2010, creating an open seat for Democrats to try and claim. “

I didn’t know about that part!

I was elated by this news, someone that finally sticks to principles. Just sit back and relax folks and watch the dems and Obama implode all by themeselves...don’t worry about the economy, God has our backs, trust HIM, not your elected officials to make things right for you. (unlike the others that think if they touch Obama’s amazing technicolor dreamcoat they will be bestowed with freebies and never have to work again)

“That’s one more ‘NAY’ vote on Porkulus...”

Watch Obama pull some stunt of saying he won’t accept the withdrawal until after the Porkulis Vote.

Obama’s spokesperson said Gregg asked for the position.

Even after Gregg’s gracious withdrawal, the Obamis have to be pissy little babies and try to get a dig in.

I hope Gregg’s stated reasons will bring attention to the census issue. But it’s interesting how whiney the Obami hopey changey tools are.

NASA ................................................................... $11 billion per year
War on Terror (through protection of President Bush) ............ $10 billion per month
Tim Geithner (payoffs to friends, banks, Congressmen, whores, jets, tax shelters) ....... $2000 billion per week
A Republican in Congress showing any testicular fortitude ......................... PRICELESS

A while back, I wrote that it was a scam to get the Senate seat on the Dem side. Looks like Judd saw it that way, too.

I'd like to be the spider in the corner of Obama's Office when he heard the news.

” Watch Obama pull some stunt “

Gregg’s abstention on the first vote was a voluntary act to show ‘loyalty’ to his prospective new employer....

” Gregg’s abstention on the first vote was a voluntary act to show ‘loyalty’ to his prospective new employer.... “

Besides — his vote wouldn’t have changed the outcome then...

That’s why I’m wondering if something else might have changed.....

I agree with you about the “pissy” part - but I very much doubt that Gregg even “asked” for the position before it was offered to him in the first place.

It’s just like Democrats to lie about someone, and then use their own lie to attack him still more.

That’s just how those rat bastards roll.

The withdrawal appeared to take the White House by surprise, with members of the president's media operation learning of Gregg's decision from reporters. An administration official said Gregg dropped out without warning...

Payback for Obama having pulled the rug out from under Gregg on the Census issue. They played Gregg for a sucker but he stuck it to them in the end.

Even the MSM is so confused, they can’t keep up with what is going on - preventing them from “spinning” cause they don’t know what is going to happen next, LOL!

Maureen Dowd said it well. She said that it is like being engaged to be married but the sooner the Marriage got closer one of the persons will realize that the marriage wouldn’t work.

Anybody who listened to Gregg at his press thing knows he didn't get a damn thing right. He pledged to be the messiah's point man in the senate on a host of issues.

Gregg needs a major intervention, he's overdosed on Obama Koolaid.
