Jon Stewart has NO impact on me and he is NOTHING without his writers....we found that out during the writers strike. Secondly, I blame Jon for belittling and demonizing President Bush. He made Bush look like a fool on tv...on purpose. What impact did that have in the war on terror? One wonders...

OK, so he had no impact on you.... But Stewart and others like him had a tremendous impact on how much of the electorate viewed Bush, Palin, Obama, etc. during the last election. Especially among younger people, you could hear Jon Stewart's sketches coming through in almost every political opinion they expressed.

That's not a good thing, obviously -- but it is nevertheless a fact. If somebody like Stewart is beginning to make fun of Obama, among his strongest demographic, that's big news.
