The Federal Government has the enumerated Necessary and Proper Clause powers spelled out in the constitution and there aren’t many. Socialist and Marxist have been stealing the power from the federalist states and consolidating power in Washington. Zero is already honing in on Justice Ginsberg’s replacement (Sicko that he is) to move this along. The Supreme Court can restore our federalist representative system of government by backing these states actions. Remember, F.D.Roosevelt’s attempt to stack the Supreme Court by raising its number to 25.
Arkansas is also working on the Sovereignty issue.
The definition of the modern man is “I want what I want when I want it.” Most people consider themselves free if they have their needs met and they can do what they want. For everybody, the needs are food and shelter. The wants vary, and some wants are more conducive to societal survival than others. To some, freedom is owning a home, raising a family in relative safety, running our business, the RTKBA and being able to speak our minds. To others, it’s cross-dressing, random sexual intercourse with strangers, abortion, drugs, and silencing those who disagree with them.
I have always felt that it is the States that have to lead the charge to reclaim the republic. I am somewhat encouraged by this.
Also, the 17th amendment must be repealed to restore the senators duty back to the states.
Who would this hurt? No ordinary Americans, but some large corporations stand to literally topple if the federal government is limited to its Constitutional scope. Thanks FGS.
God bless Oklahoma and Arizona, I hope that Texas follow their lead.
Thanks for the ping! I have some relatives in Oklahoma and they’ll be pleased to know about this.

Bump!
I do not see much if any concern popping up in other places like at the DU about this, they have wizened up a bit about falling for rumors but I think they won’t tread on this issue because they are actually hoping for it, even the DUmmies are waking up to the failed messiah.
Another reason I think why we do not hear much about it is because many are also waking up from the koolaid euphoria and see this strategy as a way of means to neuter Obamas socialistic agendas.
Overall all the ads and propaganda has markedly dropped off as touting Obama as the glorified saviour.
And I am beginning to see a possibility the dems are preparing for a fallback if Obama steps down voluntarily.
I think the states are getting a bit nervous. I don’t think they like this bill at all and they know if they sign on to this bill it will be the end to states rights.
I really never looked at this from the view of the states and what this would mean.
Some of them are getting it. I wonder if this will have a domino effect.

Ping.
HR 45 is a blatant attempt to take away our civil rights. Bills like this are going to separate us further from Washington. They don’t think we are real. They clearly are going to try to impose their Communist agenda on us no matter what we want, or don’t want. Keep those phones tied up and mailboxes full.
Y'know, you might just have a point there. I think maybe their property taxes may be lower. I lived in Enid for a year in the '60's.
Thanks for the ping.
I hadn’t heard of it, and I have conservative relatives and friends in Oklahoma.
New Hampshire is becoming a major relocation state for the older gay population who have sold their California homes and are moving to NH with pockets of money and political agenda bs their pockets of money can buy for them..
The saving grace is the fall of home values in some parts of the state. Home values “ain’t” fallen that much in Gay Frisco.
The top flee to states for our Gays are: NH, NM and Colorado and parts of Floriduh.
