If and when I get another Belgian, it will be through a rescue. Don't think I'll ever get another puppy- forgot how much work they are!

We just got an Aussie puppy for my daughter last May(from a very reputable breeder - her first litter in several years). I love our Aussies. My old dog will not be with us much longer, I am afraid, and I know I do want another dog when he is gone. I just don't think I can go through the puppy thing again. What a lot of work! It's a good thing we used to work with the local Aussie rescue group. We should be able to find a suitable adult. ;-)

Oh, yes, the puppy thing! And with an Aussie that must be almost as exciting as a field-bred Lab . . . talk about bouncing off the walls (at shoulder height) . . . .

If my younger girl's hips and eyes come back o.k., we may be having MULTIPLE puppies (silly us - we know better . . . but they would be wonderful retrievers).
