Abandon the Non-Stimulating "Stimulus" Package

Back in the old days tribes would perform elaborate rituals and sacrifices in the middle of Winter in order to ensure that Summer returns. Their priests and leaders engaged in scare tactics in reasoning that the rituals were necessary and that if the rituals were not performed, Summer would not return. One would think that our society has advanced enough that we would no longer engage in such scaremongering practices, but one would be wrong.

Obama and many in Congress are loudly proclaiming that if we don't pass the stimulus package right now, our economy will be permanently damanged. Even some conservatives have started repeating the illogical statement that something needs to be done to rescue the economy.

Over the past several thousand years, whenever integrated economies sprang up, they would always go through periods of boom and bust. It's the natural order of things. There are only four actions that governments have ever taken that have helped during the down periods of economic cycles:...

This whole thing is a GIANT Trojan Horse designed to user in Socialistic Government Control under the guise of “CHANGE” needed to address the needed RESCUE of our economic fate.

0bama is becoming desperate because he’s beginning to see the window or opportunity to pull this off by a closing of the window of public opinion to be in a highly unusually open mind (caused by the present economic circumstances) to accept such an idea.

He’s playing the threats of total destruction off to America in the hope we will give him the keys to move to his structure of socialism.

He may be correct that he “WON” the election, but he’s a dead wrong LOSER if he thinks were going to let him use that “win” to found his newly remade Amerika.

“Congress needs to remember that government is little more than a leech. The government does not produce anything. The government does not stimulate anything. We abandoned rituals and sacrifices to get Summer to return - we should abandon scaremongering in relation to “fixing” the economy as well.”

I often think about how what is today was the agenda at the beginning of the Clinton misAdministration. They wanted to, but just didn’t have enough of a crisis to make the moves the Socialist/Democrats are making today. They were only able to talk down the economy sufficiently to win. The Democrat induced increase in taxes hiccup that had occured in the G.H.W. Bush term was well on the way to recovery during the campaign, but wasn’t obvious yet.

Clinton was lucky in timing, and in the fact that G.H.W. didn’t do anything further to screw up the recovery as the Socialist/Democrats are to the current Socialist/Democrat induced disaster. Clinton got the credit for a great economy for his entire misAdministration, but ended up with an economy going into the dumps towards the end, because of his misAdministrations tax policies in the beginning that finally caught up to him.

One would think with that little bit of the track record there would be some hesitancy towards the headlong rush we see today to go against the principles outlined in this article.

Stay out of the way and do nothing at all.
Reduce government bureaucracy and regulation
Reduce government spending
Reduce taxes
