Suffering Stupiditis

Buying into the belief that we need to spend our way out, the Conservatives presented a spending-spree work of art that would make any socialist giggle with glee. Fiscal conservatives, meanwhile, are wondering where their party went. Gone is any semblance of restraint, lost is the concept of fiscal responsibility.

We now find ourselves in that darkest of places – into deficit with a growing debt. Fiscal conservatives are feeling abandoned.

It’s pretty dire when the only person left to rely on to stop this insanity is the Democratic President.

It’s so sickening. The Republican party SHOULD be standing on principle, opposing ALL such plans for what they are...socialsim. And they shouldn’t be afraid of the word! But are they doing that? (have they ever?) No. No, instead of saying “we can’t support such things! Socialism is anathema to American Liberty”, they say “we can’t support the Democrat’s bill because it costs 100 billion dollars...that’s just too much. Instead, we should pass our version of the same thing, which ‘only’ costs 75 billion dollars” (that’s being “conservative”, you see...). Absolutely pitiful.
