Hope she doesn’t tuck tail and hide like Dan Quayle did after the media thrashed him for 4 years. If she could draw the crowds she did running with McLame, just think how big the crowds would be with a solid conservative ticket.

Thank you for your opinion joseph.hermiz@asu.edu. But opinions are like pie holes. Everybody's got one.

My opinion. This ship of state will not float til 2012. Almost time to man the lifeboats. The pumps can not keep up and it’s going down.

I think we should all take things slow. I am not looking towards 2012, I am looking towards the present day, to see what will happen, to see how bad this economy becomes under Obama. Does Sarah want to run for President in 2012, who knows, if I were her, personally, I’d wait til 2016 unless Obama does such a horrendous job he becomes worse then Jimmy Carter, then she would have a great chance. She does need to boost up her resume, and no I don’t believe become a Senator, why, because not only is the senate full of corruption and greed, but one bad decision she votes for in the Senate and she’s done, who needs that nonsense. She should campaign in 2010 for Republicans who share Conservative views, if she can help get more Conservative Republicans into the Senate in 2010 and get rid of all these Democratic nut jobs, that will definitely boost her resume and give her a great political future. I really don’t know if she can handle being smeared again by the press, heck how she handles things now is beyond me. She can’t even take a piss without the media saying that she wastes toilet paper, and I’m serious, they would probably say that. Let’s just pray we even have a 2012, if this stimulus package stays the way it is and passes, we will officially become Sweden, a Socialist country, people won’t want someone(be it sarah or someone else) who believes in fiscal responsibility if they can get stuff for free

Did he say “lowest” and mean “latest”? Was it a deliberate slap or an accidental slip of his true feelings?

First, I can’t understand all of the hysteria and what oftentimes seems like an undying love for a governor that heavily detracted from one of the most deserving Republican candidates in recent memory, Sen. John McCain.

Wrong. McCain wouldn't have pulled half the vote he did without Sarah. If anything, McCain should kiss her @ss all the way to 2012 and hope for appointment to White House floor mop.

Now, it comes to the second part of my problem with Palin, and that is the fact that the 2012 election is too important for the GOP to have a 2008 Palin accepting her party’s nomination. To be very honest, Palin is at the near bottom of conservative candidates that I feel would best restore the GOP to its proper place as the keeper of classical conservative principles such as limited government, maximum individual freedom and opportunity.

Wrong again, buck-o. Sarah IS exactly the kind of banner carrier that conservatism needs. If not a genuine conservative, who?

These lickspittle hacks will keep up their backstabbing right up till the primary season. Mark them for who they are and don't forget - when they open their yaps, shove this nonsense back down their throats. Scum.

She’s a smart woman, and lovely. She’s also not entirely neo-con...yet. I just hope that by 2012, her penchant for long windedness has been curbed. I don’t know about the rest of the country but an 18 paragraph response to ‘what is 2 + 2’, is really irritating.

Who knows who it’ll be in 2012. As recently as 14 months ago anyone who said it would be Obama versus McCain would have been laughed at. Everybody knew Hilary would be the Dem nominee and that either Mitt or Rudy would lead the Republicans.
