Apparently, President Barack Obama thought that Jessica Simpson's weight was something he needed to make fun of during his pre-Super Bowl interview with Matt Lauer on NBC Sunday. Seriously. Obama called Jessica Simpson a fatty on national TV.
Lauer displayed for the audience the cover of a recent issue of the tabloid entertainment magazine US Weekly that featured the President's wife and daughters and also had an insert photo pushing a story about singer Simpson.
As he viewed the cover, Obama decided to smack the singer down for being "in a weight battle."

Obama read the headline. Maybe a dumb thing to do but he didn’t call her fat.
Translated, it means: “Jessica Simpson... HA-A-A-A-T-E-D IT!!”
He meant “Phat”.

I still say she is preggers...but time will tell. What an unfortunate choice of jeans. Even if she weighed 100 lbs, those jeans would look horrid. Those jeans, and their manufacturer should be both be retired.
I can’t believe I (me, the cranky PAMom) am going to do this...but I am going to defend the Bamster. I saw the pre-game, and Matt isaLier held up the cover in a ‘see, you are not as important as Michelle and the girls moment,’ and showed Obama the cover...and where ‘the One’ was supposed to be (but editted out) is where the Simpson weight gain blurb was placed. I honestly think Barry was just reading the cover story that bumped him.
Rookie mistake in a sappy sweet manlovefest interview by Lauer. And I really think Matty wants Barry’s special BlackBerry addy so they can text and stuff...and just be bffs forevs...
She looks great, if she’s fat I should be wearing a Burka.
If that is what a fat woman looks like then sign me up for the fat women lovers association. I’m old enough to remember when that is what a WOMAN looked like, before gay men took over the fashion industry and dictated that all “beautiful” women had to look like the gay ideal of the perfectly shapeless, hairless 12 year old boy.
Size 4? I am not a woman, but I have been married for 37 years and have two sisters, and if Jessica is anything less than size 12 in that picture then they have made huge adjustment to women’s sizes.
I think the reference was to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s being a size 4, when there was a big fluster in the gossip-press about her being “fat.”
They have adjusted sizes larger - I wear a size 4 between babies, and my daughter is a size 0, and we are both females of some robustitude. (You can see our pictures on my profile - I’m the one with Albert Einstein’s hair.)
Jessica Simpson is at least a 12.

Most women think that most men like skinny women. Nothing could be further from the truth. Women get skinny to get the approval of their women friends. Most men like full figured women, not fat but full figured. There is a big difference. This girl here is not fat.
Gay men like skinny women, that's why models are skinny, because that's the way the gay fashion designers like it.
