We have 13 cats, and sometimes they do not get along. We have a time-out room that we put the offender in when we are not home. We let them out when we are home.

It took one female several months in the time-out room to calm down, but she finally has. Then, I had another who went into a snit when I rescued another cat. He spent a week in time-out.

For the most part, I think our time-out room has helped a lot. Most of my rescues are as kittens that show up on my deck for something to eat.

Perhaps Shiloh thinks he is a dog???

I think that's part of the problem. We found him as an abandoned 2-3 week old kitten in a feral cat colony at the prison where my wife works. We bottle fed him round the clock.

He is 3 now, but very much like a baby. My cocker spaniel female adopted him and mothered him as a kitten, and even now.
