I'm not one of the union guys. And you're right, most of them are "good."

Obviously some are really "bad."

But for the most part they are willing to listen to a rational position around these parts.

And I intend to deliver it.

Keep fighting the good fight.

Besides being strongly pro-2nd amendment rights, a fiscal conservative, fighting so that illegals would not have driver’s licenses in New York State, Jim Tedisco received a 100% rating from the Christian Coalition of New York, which shows he’s a good, moral man.

Thanx and nice blog. You even covered the pro-life Obama commercial that NBC pulled.

You’d make a good guest on NYPost political analyst Fred Dicker’s radio show on talk 1300!

I’ll be checking out your blog again and again.

I would love to be on his show!

Thanks, it has been ranked in the top 10 NY blogs for a couple years. About 5000+ page views a day.

This is where I really irritate the politicos and the libs.. : )

Scott Murphy, newcomer, is the DEMOCRAT nominee in the race.

Thanks for that breaking news and the link. I liked this from the story:

“Also, the 20th CD race has become a priority for new RNC Chairman Michael Steele, who is interested in getting a win under his belt to demonstrate the party has indeed turned a corner and will be resurrected under his leadership.”

I’m thinking the Dems picked a “venture capitalist,” because Tedisco is such a STRONG fiscal conservative, and the Dems wanted to counter that.

Poll you might want to take:

The Dem (Murphy) is ahead.

There’s a very liberal college in
the area, and college kids tend
to spam, though. :)

I signed up for emails from Tedisco and here’s part of the first one I got:

“Join Jim as he officially kicks off his campaign to be the next representative for the 20th Congressional District. The Kick-Off will be held TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 3rd at 12:00 Noon at the new Tedisco For Congress Campaign Headquarters at 1707 Route 9, in Clifton Park (in the plaza behind Keybank on the corner of Route 9 and 146).

We hope to see you tomorrow!”

How did it go? Were there a lot of people? I wish I could have gone.

“I hope conservatives from around the country will support Jim Tedisco for Congress” bump!

The Special Election will be on March 31, 2009! Here’s our chance to get another pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, etc. in Congress who is not afraid to fight for what’s right.

Again, he received national attention when he took on then-Gov. Spitzer when Spitzer wanted to give driver’s licenses to illegals.

News from 20th CD today...

Republican and Conservative congressional candidate James Tedisco has a 12 percentage point lead over Democratic and Working Families candidate Scott Murphy in the first independent polling results publicized for the March 31 special election race.

Tedisco ahead, Murphy hopeful

Thanks for the ping. Good news! We could sure use one more pro-life, 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment politician in Congress right now. March 31st is probably our last chance to get another good guy in Congress until the General Elections.
