NO. They do build us parts, but not what we call the “tube” or body section. For[some] Boeing models China builds horizontal stabilizers, vertical fins, the aft tail section,and wing-to-body fairing panels. This web site shows a color coded breakdown of what is supplied by China.

then I am at least half right then, though

At Kaman, we used to make aelerons for A-6, flaps for F-14s, Engine cowls for GE Engines

all that kept those companies on schedule

But, no one ever made SH-2 parts in China in the 80’s or K-MAX parts in the 90’s

WHile Boeing is only maked small parts, they are still off shoring parts to an economic competitor nation, and with that we are giving away technology, training, material knowlege...

It all makes me pissed!

And I know it aint just Boeing, Pratt is doing 3 times as much offshoring..
