I don’t believe the members vote for the leadership positions. I think the way it works, the members vote every few years for half of the board of directors and the next time they vote for the other half. I’m not sure how long a term it is. I believe there are about 76 members on the board.

I forgot to add, the board members vote and appoint the leadership.
I think Ted does a good job as a board member but I think it would be a disaster to have him as the President.
