Not surprised. Major League Baseball nowadays is just about completely controlled by partisan ‘Rats from Selig on down. Hasn’t been a GOP owner let in into the club since W gave up the Texas Rangers to get into politics. It may be the only business in the country where management is further to the left than “labor,” which may be why they have so many player strikes historically.
