I wasn't offended personally (it takes a lot more than mean gutter talk to offend me). I was grossed out that my fellow FReepers would stoop as low as some of the comments that had to be pulled by the Admin Mod. At least one poster got suspended/banned over it, which I thought was appropriate. The Admin Mods generally show good sense and taste.

Oh, I agree. And most of the comments on the thread were in that vein. Unfortunately, there were some, and some replies to them, that were over my line of silent tolerance when posted in the "virtual living room" of Jim Robinson, whose guests we all are. They were not black humor, they were uncalled-for slurs.

In any event, the thread still stands, so the Admin Mod clearly thought it was sufficiently purged of the worst stuff, and I won't argue. After all, it's not my living room. ;-)
