I have an article in the American Spectator today called "ACORN's Stimulus." Here are the top three paragraphs:

Thank you, Mr. Vadum, for your report on the appropriation. You carefully explain the likely chain of disbursements that would yield ACORN money.
Thanks also for pointing out that there are still plenty of chances to stop ACORN from getting any of this money.
What I find damaging to my health and my motivation are things like NewsMax's headline: Obama’s Bill Hands ACORN $5.2 Billion Bailout. Sure gets my attention and makes the blood pound in my ears. Then I read your article and I realize that NewsMax jerked me around and shortened my life by about 15 minutes.
As your article makes clear, ACORN will not be receiving any money directly from the bailout bill; technically, it's not guaranteed any money at all. Second, whatever money ACORN may wind up getting, it's not going to be $5.2 billion -- again, as your article makes clear.
Most importantly, your article makes it clear that this is not a done deal. Because ACORN is not getting anything directly from the bailout, we can monitor and protest the distribution of block grant money, etc. at the state and local levels.
It's not a done deal at all. We can still stop ACORN from getting money.
So I guess they’ll be able to sneak “stimulus” money to ACORN as long as they don’t call it ACORN.
